Background
Get a JOB It’s a job search site for people between the age of 20-50 looking for a job for the first time or an internship or a change, the goal is to make it easier to find a job in an effective, secure, fast, and easy way
Problem
Available online job Offers websites have cluttered designs, fake job offers, unsecured personalized customer parameters, and a confusing registration process
Goal

Design a Jobs website to be user-friendly by providing clear navigation and offering fast job search and protected data
My Role
UX Designer designing an app for my basket from conception to delivery
Responsibilities
Conducting interviews , paper and digital wireframing low and high-fidelity prototyping conducting usability studies accounting for accessibility and iterating on design
User research : summary
Understanding the user
I conducted user interviews, which I then turned into empathy maps to better understand the target user and their needs. I discovered that many targets find it difficult to search for work easily and securely, and this is because many sites do not have a way to search in line with the qualifications of the user, and the user also suffers from a large number of false job offers,
This caused a normally enjoyable experience to become challenging for them, and difficult to complete.

Starting the design
Paper wireframes
I did a quick ideation exercise to come up with ideas for an easy fast job finding, My focus was specifically on a clear and easy to use filter and simple navigation.

Stars were used to mark the elements of each sketch that would be used in the digital wireframes.
Digital wireframes
After ideating and drafting some paper wireframes, I created the initial designs for the Get a JOB app. These designs focused on optimizing the browsing experience for users

Low-fidelity prototype
To prepare for usability testing, I created a low-fidelity prototype that connected the user flow of viewing a job offer and applying to it n a secure easy way

Usability study: parameters

Usability study: findings
These were the main findings uncovered by the usability study

Refining the design
Mockups
Based on the insights from the usability studies, I applied design changes like providing an easy-to-use filter that make the user find job offers that match his needs.

Additional design changes included providing a clearer indication of the "salary "of each job offer and also adding "employee reviews" about companies and also adding more "similar job offers"

High-fidelity prototype
The high-fidelity prototype followed the same user flow as the low-fidelity prototype, including design changes made after the usability study.

Accessibility considerations

Sitemap
With the app designs completed, I started work on designing the responsive website. I used the Get a JOB sitemap to guide the organizational structure of each screen’s design to ensure a cohesive and consistent experience across devices.

Responsive designs
The designs for screen size variation included mobile, tablet, and desktop. I optimized the designs to fit the specific user needs of each device and screen size.
